They announce it to Morticia and Gomez while Pubert is (supposedly) asleep in the same room. Well, here we go: after the kids go to camp, Debbie and Fester get married. Now, you may say, that might be a little evidence, but where’s the real kicker? To add to this: if she actually believed that parents only needed two children, why at the beginning of the movie did she argue that the kid should be a girl. So, what better than to just kill the brat and move on with life? The rest of her family enjoys having emotions, and also seem to like this new baby. I know that this was technically put in the film after the birth and not before due to the timing, but assuming Morticia’s been pregnant for the normal nine months (although who can tell), you’d assume Wednesday would have had this talk with Pugsley before if she actually believed what she was saying… unless she was coming up with this so that she’d have an excuse to kill this tiny thing that’s infested her home and given her feelings.īecause, of course, she can’t just outright say this thing is making her feel things. This would also explain the sudden feelings of jealousy towards the kid- and I say sudden, because of this scene Let’s say, once Pubert was born, Wednesday realized she was starting to feel some of his emotions, and as someone who is horrified at the thought of having an emotion (especially one that’s not her own), quickly deduced where the feelings were coming from- they started as soon as the kid was born anyway- and decided he needed to die. So you might think this came right tf out of nowhere and we’re just insane because the Addams Famdom consists of three people and a skeleton but hear me out. Our theory is that Wednesday and Pubert are somehow psychically and empathically linked. Addams Family Values Theory - Wednesday and Pubert have a psychic linkĪs the only person on this site who seems to have seen this movie on a loop 8,000 times, I kinda want to post this theory and I got while watching Addams Family Values again.
